I'd been meaning to sell off my collection for some time but every time I went over a store's buylist process, or, considered selling everything through tcgplayer/ebay the time required and the additional cost pushed me away from committing. With Card Conduit around however, this made selling a collection so much easier for a fraction of the time spent for almost no cost on my part. My shipments to Card Conduit were two sorted shipments, a curated, and a standard shipment. Only the sorted shipments were a time investment, but it's worth it. Additionally, reaching out to Card Conduit and communicating with them is easy, informative, and always left me with the impression everyone working for them cares and enjoys what they do.
Could some people find their grading a bit harsh and harder to accept? I suppose so, but for me it was more than fair. If you insist on wanting the most of our your high end cards and foils, stick to other ways to sell cards one by one, but if you value your time I can't imagine there are better services than this one. I will recommend anyone I know to send their collections to Card Conduit when the opportunity arises.

I recently sold a large amount (over 500 cards) with card conduit and had an amazing experience. The process was fast and easy. What surprised me the most was the level of communication throughout. I highly recommend to anyone looking to get a quick turn around for their mtg cards.

I wish I could rate this over 5 stars! They were so quick to paying me for just random stuff collecting dust on my desk! I will absolutely use this service again! They even graded cards better than I assumed!

The whole process went very smooth and was extremely transparent. They sent a nice pricing chart on what to expect based on the state of my cards, and I was expecting the lower amount but actually ended up with almost the highest! Thinking about sending the rest of my unsorted collection in the future.

Yea you could make more money selling it yourself but if you’re like me and just wants it done and no hassle and don’t have to deal with picky buyers and meeting people this is definitely the place to go!

I found the process to be quite efficient and easy. I was happy with the valuation of my cards and was not surprised. I would definitely consider using Card Conduit in the future and I would recommend it to others.

The experience was simple and to the point. The customer service was very helpful and professional. Their website describes the way in which this works very well. You will not make as much money as you would selling your cards individually, but it is so streamlined that it is way less stressful.

This customer has been contacted directly to explain a few things about the service, but to also address the alleged missing cards. This reply will steer clear of specifics meant for this customer, and focus on what might be useful for someone reading the review.
Regarding the alleged missing cards, we take the chain of custody of incoming shipments extremely seriously. Our service requires enormous trust, and we recognize how important it be that we can definitively say we processed all cards received in a shipment. In this case, we have reviewed all the pictures of the shipment, as well as shipments processed after the shipment had been opened – and we can confirm that Doubling Season was not received in the shipment (and that all cards received in the shipment are accounted for in the final report presented to the customer). In all cases this has happened in the past, the customer was ultimately able to locate the “missing” items either at their residence or accidentall ... Read more

In all cases this has happened in the past, the customer was ultimately able to locate the “missing” items either at their residence or accidentally included in a shipment to another person or vendor. We suspect that to be the case here.
Regarding the “estimated value”, unfortunately this was not an estimate provided from our estimate tool, but rather an estimate from what appears to be a third-party application of some sort that uses TCGPlayer Mid as a proxy for value. Unfortunately, TCGPlayer Mid is not a useful metric; we use TCGPlayer Low as a proxy for retail value, as it more accurately reflects the retail value a customer might expect (not factoring in costs/time, etc.). TCGPlayer Low for the full shipment here was just over $3,900. Removing the items that were intended to be sent, but were not, and it becomes approximately $3,760. Those prices assume every card was NM, which was not the case here – and resulted in an assessed value about $210 lower than it would have been had everything been in NM condition.
The crux of the matter here is the expectation of receiving retail value for cards. We work extremely hard to set expectations for all customers before they send cards in. Our estimate tool is a very valuable tool for this, and while the customer in question did utilize the estimate tool, the format provided resulted in the tool not providing an estimate for the customer to consider. We always encourage anyone seeking values closer to retail value to consider alternatives to our service; while our service does optimize buylist prices and does a great job providing payouts that exceed other buylist options (even when factoring in our fees), it cannot be relied upon to provide retail value for cards.
