I sent around 125 cards that had roughly $100 in value (per delivers lens app) I understand the commons are basically worthless to you guys i sent some anyhow to just see how they showed up on your final report, but I had some $2, $3, and $5 cards again to just see how everything panned out. Basically I got around $30 bucks for what I sent and it cost me like $10 to ship with tracking so in the end I got $20 for my $100 worth of cards. I know you all have to make money on the process so im not dogging you on any of it..... im just saying I probably won't be sending anything else your way. Good luck

The process to send cards was fairly easy with great instructions and documentation. I do feel like the grading was extremely harsh, with only 4-5 cards out of my entire shipment being marked NM despite most cards never being played or taken out of sleeved storage. I will likely just sell to my LGS in the future.

Over-all I'd say that it is worth it if you are looking to sell everything and be done with it. The one thing that frustrated me was that a majority of my cards got marked as damaged, or heavily played. Because of this the actual amount I received was about 35% less than what I was expecting. So unless your cards are "mint in box" I'd expect them to get marked down in price. Still I'd say a very positive experience.

Sold cards on here a few times, the last couple gradings were fair, however this order was enough to make me want to look at other options. It was a played set for sure, but the high value cards, like cyclonic rift, were graded unfairly. I feel a bit robbed. Just wanted to let you know I got the sense cards were graded lower to cut costs from this order.

Not to bury the lede, here is the TL;DR of this review: for the best Card Conduit experience, set your grading and payout expectations as low as possible and lean into the convenience.

I used the Sorted service and sent in 485 cards.

PROS:
Customer service experience was great; Nick is great; responses were prompt and personal. I ran out of time preparing my order, and when I did finally ship, several cards had fallen below the $0.50 threshhold. Nick said that's fine, leave 'em in. Huge help there. My order arrived smack in the holiday season, but the CC team was still prompt in replying to my questions on Christmas Day. Payout came right on time with no hitches. Awesome.

CONS:
Even understanding that my own assessment of card quality would be high, I was still pretty disappointed by the grading. Most everything was MP or below, and the payout reflected it - I had told myself that $2,500 was the least I would accept, but... well.

The thing is, CC has to pay their clients based on a whole host of resell factors that most people wouldn't necessarily consider. And their grading is necessarily based on the demanding expectations of their own buyers. I am willing to take on faith that their grading was accurate given those parameters, but it sure feels bad to scrutinize a card, think to yourself "Yeah, this is in pretty stellar condition" and then find out that it was rated at Moderately Played and bought at 60% of the value you expected. Repeat that for 485 cards, and I would be lying if I said it didn't leave me feeling pretty bummed.

If I were to use CC again, I think it would be to maximize the convenience factor: bulk rares and so on.
If you have cards that will sell as singles, strongly consider selling them as singles. And if you do use Card Conduit, know exactly what the time saved will be worth to you.

Unfortunately I only sell to card conduit after I've sold to other vendors since their grading is consistently always lower than other vendors. I've sold now thousands of cards and there is a definite pattern of unfair grading at card conduit. If you want fair grading, sell elsewhere first then if you don't have any other options or the time investment isn't worth it, then sell to card conduit.

My cards value were cut in half by the time they were processed. I understand this can happen, but several cards became literally 0. I sent in 16 planner elves that were 60 cents, only to become literally 0? You could at least give a few cents for a card you were paying 60 a few days prior.

The Ancient Copper Dragon as part of this order (#396, not #368) unfortunately was not Near Mint, and thus the price paid was not the $50 NM price, but instead the $25 MP price. It is also worth noting that the prices we offer are not locked in until your shipment is processed, so if you are trying to specifically maximize the price of each card, there may be disappointing results if prices change in the interim. Ultimately this did not affect the outcome here, and the difference in expectation was related to the grade on the card.

Process was simple enough. This was my second shipment. First one went great, this time I did the curated list and for my Mana Crypt, I got $20 less than the previewed amount. A courtesy heads up would have been nice if there’s a large difference than the estimate.

If your not patient enough to list yourself and need to sell fast this is an option. You will get 70% mabe 80% what you want out of them. I got 600 less than what i wanted for mine. If I had got 200 more I would be pleased and rated 8 or 9 out of 10. Use the service but just know they have to make money somehow and it's in the evaluation process. I would recommend if one needs fast money and doesn't care to take a small bath.

The eziest way to sell MTG cards. Not the fastest. Plan on a month for payment. Their grading is tough. Very tough. Careful about the pricing too. They don't always give market valu for your cards. But still better payout then your local TCG.

The process was very smooth and I think the grading is pretty strict. I wouldn't recommend sending foils, be prepared to only receive LP or below. The main issue I have using CC is how pricing can shift from the time you send your package to the time it is received, and this can become very significant if certain cards had a high buylist price from one vendor and that filled up before your cards arrived, automatically putting you to the second highest vendor (yet often at much lower price). I would say that CC is the way to go for sending <$5 cards if you have a fair quantity, while it may be worth the effort to lockin prices and send more expensive cards to seperate buylists.

Used this service once before had a good experience (only reason im giving 3 stars). Grading seemed on par with tcg at the time. This time around however, different story. Cards sold to me NM from TCGDirect, graded a MP? (that means i should take up issue with tcg about their quality they sent me?) Either way, the drastic drop in price for a MP vs NM is astounding (whats this pokemon?). Thought id be receiving around $50, (generously) would've been MP on everything according to their chart, yet somehow I came in even lower at $37. For $6 each on foil Crushing Brutality secret lair swamps ill buy them back. And any extras you have at that, ill even do better than your buylist, ill pay $8 (I mean I was only buying them at $20, ill buy them at less than half price all day). Could've fire sold everything for half price on facebook and made out better than this. This is a drastic difference in experiences using this service. To be transparent the other cards in this particular shipment were graded about right, mostly, even gave me a NM where I would've graded a LP. But $6 on those Foil Swamps is laughable.

We understand the frustration associated with getting grades that you weren't expecting. If that happens, you should always reach out to us to discuss - we can provide additional support for the grades, and do our best to get on the same page. We want to assist you if your expectations have not been met.

To address the questions in the review:

- Yes, the issue could have been taken up with TCGPlayer. They frequently provide partial refunds for incorrectly graded items.

- Markdowns for foils tend to be more significant than for non-foils. In this case, the 25% markdown per condition is the resulting markdown, though it isn't always that severe. Buyers of foils tend to put more scrutiny on grades, and the price differences reflect the desirability lower condition foils have (which is typically true when the collectability matters - as seen in Pokemon).

I literally bought brand new, never before played cards that went straight into double sleeves and somehow got some wonky medium played or worse grades.

There’s some cards I’m very familiar with and could recall how LP or MP would be fair and possible.

Overall, needed things to be quick for cash and lack of hassle as a tired dad.

It’s an ok place if you need the cash but it isn’t my first choice if I had more time.

Cards were graded harsher than they should’ve been. Cards valued above $1 at time of shipping dropped below that and were graded as bulk once they got to them. Fine since I needed the cash but I wouldn’t be using them in the future.
