I had a 1,400+ collection of MTG cards I lovingly separated by color, made alphabetical, and created an identical list on the TCG app for a workers convenience at my local game store. Priced roughly around $1,500, I was expecting on the lower end for trade in/cash value. 20% or 30% respectively given as it was 70% bulk. Well to my dismay the stores offered me nothing for cash and only $150 store credit... 24hrs of my time spent purely out of kindness for 10% store credit value. Insulting. After feeling like I've been slapped in the face and had my time wasted I decided to look into doing it online. I have never attempted this before so I was a bit hesitant. For a fraction of the cards I was offered almost 4 times what the stores did, in cash! It was quick and easy with minimal waiting. Will be doing again when the boxes start to overrun! 10/10
