Retail vs. Buylist Pricing
Buylist prices are what major retailers will pay you to buy your cards, and is what most
individuals should expect without a lot of effort.
This differs from retail price, which is the card price you would see at shops or on
marketplaces.
Buylist value is at least 20% less than retail, but is likely to be 30-40% on average. As a
general rule, the cheaper the card, the higher the spread between buylist and retail value.
Best Single Buylist Total
This assessment calculates the best sum total value from any single buylist. In the event a card
does not appear on a retailer's buylist, it is considered to be zero value.
This assessment uses several major public buylists.
Our own total assessed value, on the other hand, is optimized for the best price across many
different vendors, and may be further improved by private buylists.

In the vast majority of cases, commons and basic lands are not worth the
cost of shipping and are not worth our labor/fees to process.
If there are specific commons you are sure have buylist market value, those
are fine to send.

About Retail Valuation
NM condition
Selling your cards at retail prices is possible via marketplace, such as TCGPlayer.
While retail prices are higher than buylist prices, there will be selling fees and shipping expenses (~20%).
We assess the retail value of your collection using TCGPlayer's current low price (i.e. TCG Low), and for
the card condition you provided in your submission.
If your submission did not include condition, we use the "near mint" value by default.

We use prices from most major retailers in the US market. Where card condition is not
specified, we use the near mint condition price.
Tokens, Emblems, and other non-cards are ignored.
Items with a near mint value under $0.10 are considered bulk, and are valued according
to our bulk rates.
This is not an offer. If you choose to ship to us, your cards will be assessed with
then-current prices.
We rely on Scryfall
for card data such as names, set codes, and collector numbers. We do our best to support
other data formats/conventions, but for most accurate results we recommend Scryfall
data.
