I never really collected Magic Cards; I played the game. But I am so much into the limited format that I did accumulate a lot of cards. Any I got some of the Power Nine when I made a brief foray into what was then called Type One Constructed (a format that was basically anything not Standard). When I wanted to sell them, I had no idea what they were worth. I had sold them on my own. I would have overpriced them and upset potential buyer.
